Merri's Favorite Things

"Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudel, doorbells and sleighbells and schnitzel with noodles..."
Imagine Julie Andrews singing that. :)

Ok...my list might not contain all of those things, but here are some of my favorites.
Like Mon I would have to put these wonderful people at the top of my list too. :)
I would introduce everyone to you, but that might take up the rest of the page and be a little confusing. :) Love, love, love them!! With such a big family, getting everyone to look at the camera at the same with a lovely smile...not gonna happen. :)
Just precious!

Hmm...where to start next...how about favorite store ever!!

Monica and I may possibly keep this place in business. :)

Old-fashioned Silver Dollar City! Oh my word...I"m craving some "family feud" and "succotash" right now! This place is wonderful at Christmas, but I would go anytime. So fun!
Favorite season is fall!! Isn't it lovely? Pumpkins, hay rides, sweaters, and boots...(sigh).

I don't know if this is my absolute favorite, but it has to be somewhere at the top of the list.
Speidino di mare! Drooling...:)

Hello Mr. Darcy! I've said before that I absolutely love romance movies from this era, so I'm having a hard time just narrowing it down to one. Emma would come in a close second... I think...or... maybe Persuasion. Oh! I just can't pick one! :)

The absolute best drink in the world! No other opinion on the matter! :)

Love these Sonoma Cherries Jubilee dishes!! I have been collecting cherry kitchenware since I was in high-school to have when I'm married, but these pieces are hard to find. I would love to get them one day. :)

If you have never tried this you definitely should! This stuff dries in like 30 seconds! Love it!

Favorite flower...roses! They are all just gorgeous!

Favorite style and design is definitely shabby chic!! I think my house will have a little bit more earthy tones in it because I love fall colors, but I love things that look like they have a story to tell. Check out that table! Lovely! :)

Yum!! Mint chocolate chip would have to come in a close second. :)

These candles are so cool! It's like having a little fireplace wherever you put it! I love the crackling sound!

Favorite musical instruments
Violin, piano, and cello
Just lovely! I play the flute, but hope to start cello lessons soon! :)

Ok...are you ready for this one? :) It's kind of silly. :)
Growing up my Mom and I would always watch figure skating and to this day I still enjoy watching it. :) This is a picture of my favorite pair skaters, Sergei Grinkov and Ekaterina Gordeeva.

Favorite sport to play is...volleyball! I started in 6th grade and played until I graduated. Go setters! :)

Can't do without this hairspray. :) It makes your hair smell so good and it's my favorite scent.
Not sure what the "Strong and Growing" is about, but you get the idea. :)

Love them!!

Love this series!! I recently started to watch these again and...I just love them! It's that "hopeless romantic" part of me, I guess. :)

Shoes, shoes, shoes...what is there to say? Black patent-leather pumps...so classy! I have a hard time resisting some fabulous heels. :)

Ok...you are probably gonna think this is quite silly. It could be because I've watched Anne of Green Gables one too many times. :)
But if I could visit any place I wanted, I think I would choose Prince Edward Island.
I would love to walk along there! Wouldn't you?!
Yes, I think owning the complete set of "Road to Avonlea" could have something to do with wanting to visit this place. Who wouldn't want to visit the place that Anne of Green Gables grew up?! :) Those movies are therapeutic! My Mom and I would watch them together.(sigh) :)

Anyway...

"Just simply remember your favorite things, and then you won't feel so bad!" :)
